April 18: "Catch Up" Day at Lake Ella in a picnic shelter from 9 to 4. Bring any unfinished carvings or those you would like directions for. Bring your own chair and small table, or a covering for the picnic table. No fee! Just come! Instructors will be there.

April 20: Hands-on learning. Carve "happy eyes". Cutouts for the project are 50 cents each. Irv will provide directions for turning the project into a clock.

May 2: Wood carving demonstration and display at Quincy Fest, 12 to 4:30 p.m. Let Elven know if you can participate.

May 9: Saturday Workshop at Lake Ella, 9 to 4. A perfect opportunity to carve a walking stick you bought from the wood vendor a few weeks ago. Barbara will have several examples of different ways to do walking sticks, including carving faces. She also has a limited supply of sticks for purchase if you do not have one. Instruction fee -- $10.

May 18: Lance will cover planning, designing and carving unique bases or mountings for our carvings. He will have examples that demonstrate carving rocks, coral and flowers.

Summer Schedule: During the summer we meet every other week. Save this schedule to avoid confusion! After Labor Day we're back on our weekly schedule.
