Program Notes

April 21. Carve a musical treble clef as an ornament with Lance. Cutouts available in different woods $2 each.

May 5. Tool sharpening with Barbara Mann and Robert Christian. How to fix nicked or broken tips of knife blades; how to keep your tools sharp. Bring your tools that need work and leave with sharp tools.

Sept. 15. Carve a new ornament with Barbara. Club will choose the ornament from several to be presented at the Aug. 4th meeting.

Florida Woodcarvers Roundup 2015 will be held February 3 to 6 in Clearwater, FL. Put the dates on your calendar. More info to come.

Ward World Championship Wildfowl Competition and Art Festival. April 25, 26, 27, 2014 in Ocean City, Maryland. THE show of bird carving with competitions, displays, workshops, and lots and lots (about 70) vendors. An experience! www. wardmuseum.org
