Program Notes

A sharpening program will be presented January 22. Those that wish to use the buffing wheel bring the knives and gouges you want to buff up. Those wanting to learn more about sharpening techniques will have the opportunity to work with several instructors. There is more than one way to sharpen your tools. You might discover a way that works best for you.

The club has signed up to participate in the Wildlife Heritage and Outdoors Festival, February 3, 2024, at St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge from 10am - 3pm. We will have 2 tables displaying some of our carvings. If you wish to participate, let Adelle or Mark know.

The Pensacola Fair was a success for several of our members. Human Realistic: Blue - Mark Dominy, Red - Robert Christian. Human Caricature: Blue-Alan Tesky. Aquatic: Blue-Mark Dominy. Santa Claus: Red-Alan Tesky. Best of Show: Alan Tesky. Great job and congratulations to these fine carvers.

Winners of the Holiday Prize drawing are:
    $50 - Phil Gentry
    $35 - Robert Christian
    $15 - Brian Barber

Dues are due in April 2024

Ever wonder where door prizes come from? They are donated by you, the members!
