Those of you receiving Chip Chats or Woodcarving Illustrated will have access to other shows and carving opportunities. The latest issues have some workshops listed that are already cancelled, some are not. Please check before making plans. If you do not receive Chip Chats, you may want to consider becoming a member of the National Wood Carvers Association. Dues are $20/year. The magazine comes bi-monthly (although in the time of Covid, it is quarterly). Send your name, address, and dues to: National Wood Carvers AssociationWe have been listed on the Chip Chats web site. To access the site, go to www.ChipChats.org. They have updated their website and include listings for shows and events. You can even join the organization on the site. Pensacola Fair resultsA total of 13 carvings were sent to the Pensacola Fair held in October 2021. Five came back with ribbons. Mike received a blue ribbon for a bark house and a white ribbon for a carved bracelet. Lance received a blue ribbon for a dragon. Robert received a blue ribbon for a caricature of a man with a rifle and coffee pot and a white ribbon for a caricature of a man with a rifle and a bottle. The caricature category had many entries so was very competitive. Holiday drawing resultsWith Covid hampering our meetings the last 2 years we separated the entries of 2020 and 2021 into drawings for each year.Winners for 2020 are:
